Meet the Chamber Members: The Chamber’s CEO and CPA Eran Cohen

“`html

Eran Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting, is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, the CEO of the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, and the owner of an international accounting firm.

His firm provides audit services for financial statements, international taxation, incorporation of companies and opening bank accounts abroad, as well as management services and ongoing support for businesses in Israel and Cyprus.

The firm specializes in establishing holding structures with optimal tax and accounting advantages, but does not stop there and provides a comprehensive service package for Israeli businesses relocating abroad. This means that each business benefits from close professional support every step of the way.

Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce – much more than a business forum

Eran Cohen joined the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce seven years ago to assist with its operations, was impressed by its potential, enjoyed the role, and today serves as the Chamber’s CEO with the aim of leading it even further forward.

For Eran, the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce is not merely a business forum, but a platform for promoting the interests of its members and businesspeople in both countries.

This is done, for example, through meetings, conferences and activities tailored to a wide range of businesses (real estate, law, accounting, industry, tourism, etc.), which help them open many doors.

Opening business doors on the neighboring island

Drawing on his many years of experience as an accountant, Eran Cohen knows that business success begins with building personal relationships – and the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce is proof of that.

As the Chamber’s CEO, he receives weekly inquiries from Israeli businesses in various fields (high-tech, marketing, real estate, tourism and more) that are interested in Cyprus. He connects them with Cypriot companies and banks and opens the door for them to operate in the Cypriot market.

For both Cypriots and Israelis, the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce serves as a mark of quality, so Israeli and Cypriot companies that have passed the initial screening are regarded as reliable and high-quality. Moreover, numerous business collaborations are formed between the Chamber’s members.

Israel–Cyprus relations – what does the future hold?

Cyprus is considered one of Israel’s friendliest countries in Europe, so it is no surprise that economic relations between the two countries continue to improve. Here are just a few examples as of 2025:

  • Israelis rank second in real estate purchases in Cyprus
  • Israelis rank second in inbound tourism to Cyprus

Eran Cohen and his colleagues at the Israel-Cyprus Chamber of Commerce foresee a bright future for the commercial and political relations between the two countries. And reality speaks for itself: at Cyprus’s Independence Day celebrations held at the Hilton Tel Aviv, around 400 people from a wide range of Israeli business sectors took part.

And the best is yet to come. The joint development of gas fields by Israel, Cyprus and Greece is expected to turn these countries into a particularly powerful geopolitical force in the Eastern Mediterranean.
